Site content

Site content lets you edit a curated set of your site's marketing copy yourself, directly from your workspace — no developer ticket needed.

This is a capability enabled depending on your plan (see the product page). If the Site content menu doesn't appear in your dashboard, it isn't enabled on your account yet — talk to us.

What you can edit

A curated subset of your site's marketing copy: the fields our team selects as safe to edit without breaking layout or SEO — not the entire site. Every field is independent per locale: an edit in French never touches the English version, and vice versa.

Editing a field

Open Site content

From your dashboard, open the Site content section.

Choose the locale

Each field has its own value per locale. Select the locale you want to edit before typing your text.

Edit and save

Type your new text, then save. The change is live on your public site as soon as you save.

The repo stays your safety net

Your site's default copy (the text your site shipped with) never disappears — it stays the floor. Your edit is layered on top of it, and you can reset a field at any time to fall back to that default text.

Resetting a field permanently removes your override for that field and locale. The repo's default copy takes its place — no other field is affected.

Next step

See the other customization capability, content blocks, which lets you add new content instead of editing an existing field.
