Customization
WebOustaou offers two deep-customization capabilities, enabled on your account depending on your plan: site content and content blocks. Both let you evolve your site yourself, without waiting on a developer — but they don't change the same thing.
These are product capabilities, enabled on a per-account basis depending on your plan — they are not on by default for every workspace. Talk to us if you'd like either enabled on your account.
Site content or content blocks: which one do I need?
- Site content — edit the text of a curated set of fields already present on your site (a headline, a tagline, an intro paragraph…), per locale. You never change the page's structure.
- Content blocks — add a new piece of content (formatted text, a callout, a button) into a slot your site already declares for that purpose. You're not editing an existing field, you're publishing a new one.
The two capabilities are independent: you may have one, the other, both, or neither, depending on your plan.
