A simple tool for those whose time is precious.
WebOustaou was born in the kitchens and counters of independent venues, to replace the spreadsheets, sticky notes, and websites that don't age well.
Why WebOustaou exists
Most restaurant software is either too expensive, too complex, or built for big chains. Growing up in this industry and working in kitchens since I was 15, I know exactly what independents want: to keep their menu up to date, take orders without a per-order commission, present their venue on a site that looks like them, and without paying a developer every time the opening hours change. None of the solutions on the market did this right without bleeding them dry financially.
Our mission
Give every independent restaurant the same digital tools as the chains, without the complexity and without the per-order commission. A clear price, a simple back-office, a fast site.
What we care about
Simple by default
If a restaurateur can't use it between two services, it's too complicated. We cut before we add.
Honest pricing
No per-order commission. No end-of-month surprises. A clear subscription you can cancel.
Your data, your brand
The site and its content belong to you. We can hand them back at any time, in a standard format.
Built in France, hosted in Europe
We're based in France. Customer data is hosted on Amazon servers in Roissy, in line with GDPR. No data is transferred outside of the European Union as part of the standard service.
- Team based in France
- Database and files hosted in Paris (Supabase, Vercel and Upstash, region eu-west-3)

Who's behind it

I grew up in a family of butchers and pizzaiolos. From age 15, I worked in kitchens, learned the trade and its rhythms, heard the frustrations of those working the line. Later, as a developer, I saw those same problems from a new angle: the independent restaurateurs I knew had to choose between overpaying, accepting ridiculous complexity, or depending on someone else for every update. I started WebOustaou to build what I wish had existed then: a tool designed by someone who truly understands the constraints of the ground, not by a startup algorithm. Every product decision goes through someone who has heard real kitchen noise.
